This was one of the best meals and experiences I have had in a long time. I travel and eat out most meals. Staff was very attentive and made recommendations that were spot on. Food was very flavorful. It is not Chinese did so expect a different and more complex flavors. The value was also great. I would rate it as underpriced.

Tried this place when it first opened. It was alright. We will try it again. The soup was very flavorful and the bread/biscuit thing they give you was very good. Next time we go, I will try something different. I form remember the name if the dish I had but I was not thrilled with it. One thing I wish I had known is there are menu items that you have to call ahead for. Some are 24 hrs ahead as they are traditional meals. Some of them sounded really good but I couldn't get them due to the call. Check out their menu and see if it's something you might want the day before.

Loved the food! The service is a little awkward, and they didn't really seem to know anything on the menu.. But the food was great!

Service is poor waited an hour and a half for order then left. I paid for two instant green teas and the worst egg rolls ever.

I have no idea why any would even consider this place good or even authentic! Me and a friend are very fond of asian food and seen all the great reviews of this place so decided to give it a shot. The service by the way was wonderful but that was the best thing about this place I ordered the beef noodle soup had all the right ingredients but no flavor at all!!! It tasted just like they boiled water and dumped the rest of the condiments in the soup horrible and I did notify our waitress and asked who was cooking she replied that it was the owner and I told her politely to let her know that it had do flavor at all and was very bland she apologized and was very sorry about the food but I don't think I would ever return to this place!

The food is okay, it's cooked from scratch so it takes a bit longer. The hours are weird as well. They close at 7:30 on a Friday night.

Wow - this was a big mistake. We were passing through Bay City and saw this place on the corner and thought it would be a good try. We ordered four different things for lunch, along with two smoothies for the kids, and all the dishes were all terrible in the same way; bland and salty, with lifeless vegetables and overcooked noodles. The smoothies were watery and tasteless, a mango/orange was watery and not sweet or citrusy at all. The Ocean Blue was flavorless and watery, an indistinguishable purplish mess. The Sinangag fried rice was flavorless, mostly salty with what looked like frozen peas and carrots, and very little egg. It was frankly gross. When I scraped the mostly uneaten remains into a takeout container to try and revive later at home, there was a big streak of char on the bottom of the plate?! The three noodle dishes were similarly disappointing. One was supposed to be a blend of rice and egg noodles, and there was only about three 2" egg noodles to be found in the overcooked mess of rice noodles, carrots and celery. The promised cilantro and boiled egg was nowhere to be found. Again, no flavor or spice at all but salt. The second rice noodle dish was supposed to have a mix of vegetables and tofu but only had carrots and celery and some barely cooked extra-firm tofu chunks, and a single lonely piece of overcooked broccoli. This one tasted like low-grade ramen flavoring packets. The noodle soup was similarly bland - all salt flavor and no spice whatsoever. We are lucky enough to live in a town where we have access to many great and authentic noodle shops and Asian cuisine restaurants, so I have something to compare it too - this was truly one of the worst lunches I have ever seen. I have had packaged ramen that was better than any of these dishes, and with more vegetables in it. What a disappointment, I wish I had my $40 back. Avoid at all costs!

Had the adobo chicken...pretty good. It came with rice and a lumpia(egg roll) and soup. The three of us liked our food. I had one of the smoothie type drinks with mango and I loved it. My bf got the other one that another reviewer suggested and he loved it but I didn't. The waitress was sweet. The owner was also the one in the kitchen and she even came out to check on us. She was very nice. Cute atmosphere. I liked the mural on the wall.

Granted, I have been dining in NYC for the past week but come one. I dont even know where to begin. The fruit salad was frozen and tasteless. The asian dumpling and chicken wings were edible but not good. The beef noodle soup is probably okay if you grew up in this region and are accustomed to garb food. But, if you are from a bigger city that has quality food, you wont like anything here. Only went here cause heathers was closed.

I will start with the positives. Some of our meals were ok. That's about all for the positives. There 4 adults and a one year old, so five altogether. Luckily we were the first with a baby/child because there was only one high chair. There was nowhere to change a baby/toddler in the restroom. The cleaner they used was scented and very very strong. I'm lad they use one but it literally made me light headed and nauseated. They were definitely short staffed in the kitchen and wait staff. We were there about a hour and a half and I only had water for about 30 mints. They ran out of rolls so we were given fried dough, very greasy and cold. We ordered lumpia, again greasy, greasy, greasy. One of our party ordered the "asian noodle fish special" it took about 40 mints to come out and when it did, it was cold/ frozen in the middle and RAW. When the waitress came over we asked should we order something else? She said, "no, I'm sure she would like to remake this for you and take it off your bill." That sounded reasonable done the rest of us had received our dinners and finished them at this point. When the fish came it was cooked and the verdict was it had good flavor. When we got our bill they did not take the fish off the bill. They just took 10 % off which was a $1.80. When we said something they said fine we will do 50% off. We were still not happy with this we were there for an extra 45 minutes because of their inability to cook their food. Anyone who's been at a restaurant that long with a toddler u dee stands why this is an issue. I was really excited to eat here but was let down. I may try it Shan someday but I doubt I'll be able to convince my husband.

Loved this place! The staff is super friendly and helpful! I was so excited to try something different and was thoroughly impressed. I got the Chicken Adobo, which was awesome! I came during lunch (which came with the soup of the day and a lumpia...both great too!) I love how they don't use MSG and everything is cooked with very little salt. The flavor was great, and the food was cheap for how much you got. The portions were large and the food itself was excellent. Will be back again!

I was excited to try this place out, and was surprised because it wasn't exactly what I had expected. I expected ramen noodles to be on the menu, but this is a Filipino restaurant! The dining room is wide open with an out of place looking bar at the front. I'm assuming this will be the smoothie bar once they get that in operation. The waitstaff was courteous, friendly, and had a good understanding of the menu and what to recommend. The food was really good! I tried the Pancit Bihon-Sauteed with chicken. Lunch specials are served with the soup of the day, lumpia, and a white roll. The waitress recommended the Sago't Gulaman, which tasted like a sweet iced tea with brown sugar and tapioca pearls! The soup had a pork broth with cilantro, cabbage, and some other ingredients. It felt a little oily but was very good. I'm glad that I saved the white roll to soak up the broth that was left at the bottom of the soup bowl. I'm a sucker for good spring rolls and their Lumpia did not disappoint! The reason I'm giving this 3/5 stars is because I had to wait close to an hour between being served the starter course and the Pancit Bihon. The Pancit Bihon was very good, very fresh tasting, and the portion almost seemed a little too large. The plate was served with a fresh cucumber, red onion, and carrot salad and a side of rice. Everything was cooked really nicely, but I don't believe it should have taken an hour to cook a dish with rice noodles. I would have also liked more broccoli and less celery, but I still thought it was delicious. If I could take 2 hour lunch breaks everyday Asian Noodle would be great, but since my lunch time is a little more limited I'll be hesitant to visit again. Perhaps I'll place a takeout next time an hour in advance just to be safe. I wish them the best of luck, but they will need to get the kitchen a bit more organized if they are going to succeed!

Friendly, with fabulous food. Pancit Molo is my favorite, especially on a cold day. The stir fry's are incitefully interpreted. Every lunch starts with a cup of the soup of the day and an eggroll. Tuesday is Tinalong Manck soup which is chicken soup with ginger. The owner/chef walks through and checks to make sure you are enjoying your meal.

First time going to Asian Noodle, had a buffet of appetizers and figured it would be a good chance to sample the food. There were spring rolls, noodles, zucchini salad and chicken bits. There are no words to say just how bad it was. My husband took a bite of the spring roll and bit into grizzle and the chicken was so tough you could not chew it, everything else was tasteless. Life is too short to eat such terrible food. Awful 1st impression. We won't even give it a 2nd chance. A single star is generous.

Siomai wasn't great but it was good, Bistek (beef steak with red peppers) was okay, Service was good. I really want to love this restaurant but I just can't. I ordered Lechon kawali expecting it to have a crispy melt in your mouth meat but I was mislead. It wasn't crispy at all! It's more like crockpot meat. Totally different from Filipino Lechon kawali. We also had complimentary tinolang manok soup and well it was bland. I'm probably gonna try it again if they get their cooking right.

This is not a Chinese or Vietnamese place; it is a Filipino restaurant. I know! I certainly did not expect a Filipino place in Bay City (no offense, but I don't think there is a Filipino restaurant in Atlanta, and that city has a significantly higher Asian population--Buford Highway, you need to remedy this asap!). I had the Pancit Bihon with chicken. Seasoning was on point. Bit peppery (not a bad thing, by any means) with crunchy veggies, which created a nice contrast with the rice noodles. Portion was quite generous, which is a plus in my book (I'm skinny, but I love me some good food!). I also had the Halo-Halo. Not lying: I would have this dessert every single day! That thing is delicious. That being said, I will have to try the flan or the Toron nwxt time. I have one more night in Bay City, and, yes, I will spend it at Asian Noodle. I'm just not sure if I'll have the Adobo, Lechon, or Bistek tomorrow.

I just returned to my hotel (Doubletree) inspired to write this review after very much enjoying my time and a wonderful meal at Asian Noodle. Being a California Native, I know what good Asian food is, and will say was blown away by the fresh quality ingredients/full flavor, service, and overall feeling of being welcome during my solo-dining experience as a traveling rep. I was walking the under construction downtown streets "menu window shopping", and was kindly greeted by owner inviting me in to just enjoy the live music... Now the live music was an amazing acoustical guitar trio with an awesome playlist of familiar jams with their own spin on them.... Perfect compliment to the menu which was very much the same -- featuring dishes which appeared familiar Asian but were anything but your ordinary Asian - Mmmmm Tasty!! I sat alone, but never felt alone based on the service and attention provided by my server Alysia who was much more than just an "order taker" -- she seemed to care about my experience, knew the menu, made awesome recommendations (I had the Asian Noodle Ginger Beef it was delicious!), and had a great personality! I felt great about my entire Asian Noodle experience, and the owner made sure to sincerely inquire to which I expressed high level satisfaction in fact congratulating her on a job very well done..... This review is non-solicited and deserved. I learned that tomorrow is their 1 year anniversary and I hope they make it past the "terrible 2" threshold (I have no doubt they will!) as I definitely plan on returning as part of my next stay at the Doubletree guaranteed! Thanks Asian Noodle and hopefully this review finds you well and helps earn you a new customer..... Cheers

Asian noodle? No. When I first saw this restaurant was opening in Downtown Bay City, I was ecstatic! Finally, a quality Asian restaurant opening in a downtown area that can serve traditional Asian dishes! Well, I was disappointed. My first experience was dismal at best. Mop bucket sitting in the middle of the dinning room, employee meals visible from where I sat at the bar (NOTE: if your employees would rather eat at McDonalds or Taco Bell than your own restaurant, there is clearly a problem). This was my first image upon entering. Upon ordering, the waitress had no clue what the entrees even where. Poor training, possibly. Just a new server who didn't have time to learn the menu? More than likely. The menu did not have "Asian Noodle" dishes. Instead, you are given a handful of Phillipean dishes. You would expect a restaurant by the name of "Asian Noodle" to have a wide variety of dishes ranging from China, to India, to Japan. Nope. The food was sad. Poorly seasoned, with little to no spices added. I expected vivid flavors of fresh, colorful vegetables and noodles, but was left feeling I could have had a more tasteful meal at Panda Express. I've been to Asian Noodle twice since my detailed visit. Both times, the food and service was equally as disappointing. I so badly wanted my revisits to be redemption, for an off dinner service perhaps -- but was left saddened at another mediocre business slowing the downtown area's other quality restaurants. On another note, the bubble tea was okay! Not enough to make a redemption sadly. KB

I had lunch here one time and I thought it was delicious. I am actually giving this low rating because of the BUBBLE TEA. I have had lots and lots of bubble tea from different restaurants all over the US. I have NO IDEA what this stuff was. I asked if it was blended, and they told me yes. At most places, that means with ICE... Well I ordered a coconut milk bubble tea with tapioca, WHAT I GOT WAS - NO ICE, coconut milk, and little balls that popped in my mouth when I ate them (not tapioca). It was the most disgusting thing I have ever drank before. They should stop advertising they serve bubble tea, it's misleading. Please consider yourself warned. I have alerted all my friends not to get the bubble tea here. Sorry. You blew it, Asian Noodle.

I was in Bay City for work and when I was yelping places to eat, I was excited to see that there was a Filipino restaurant in town. I should have known better... I should have known better when I saw something as delicious as lechon kawali on the menu which is supposed to be crispy pork belly which is melt in your mouth fatty crispy heaven but instead served a pork chop with apples and a cucumber salad. I should have known better when the waitress asked my co-worker how spicy he wanted his pancit (pancit is NOT supposed to be spicy whatsoever). There was cilantro and broccoli on it! I've never seen cilantro and broccoli on pancit in my life. I feel as if I was mislead, that this wasn't going to be Filipino food as I knew it. Then again, from the name of the restaurant, Asian Noodle, I should have known...oh well I tried it and now I'll be more cautious.

It's nice to have something new in town. Food portions are very small compared to the price. Nothing spectacular food wise. I only ate there once and that was enough. No desire to return. Nothing seemed authentic to me.

Service was good... Portion for the noodles are huge...But since this is a restaurant...at the end of the day taste of the food is the most important thing... And they did an alright job. All the noodle soups are blend and flavorless...the appetizer bread-looking bun has no taste and the complimentary soup was overly sour...we also ordered some pork dish and this one is the better option-but not by much... Food here just simply doesn't stand out... So I would not recommend...I did enjoy the atmosphere though...

Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, & outstanding menu. Best oriental fare in Bay City, & located in the heart of downtown.
